Local and web server image conversion and processing software

2JPEG can be used as a server utility for managing remote processing of large amounts of graphics files via LAN (local area network) or Internet.

LAN

You can install 2JPEG on other computer (server) and lauch or controll in from your computer (client). Thus, your computer will be free from routine work on processing and converting graphics. It will be transferred to the server which will do the mechanical job, while you will be able to enjoy more interesting creative work.

The conversion process on the server can be managed with the help of:
- Telnet
- Terminal

Web server

Using 2JPEG on a web-server broadens the graphics content management capacities.
Not only JPEG, PNG and GIF but about fifty other image file formats can be embedded into your site.
You will also be able to process these file formats on the web-server, the user's command sent via web-interface being the starting point of the operation.

Examples of 2JPEG usage on a web-server:
- ASP script: launching conversion
- CGI script: viewing images of various formats located on the server

Please note that you need to purchase Developer license of 2JPEG to use it as server application.
